It’s been quite busy and I know I have not been able to post a blog in a few but these past couple of weeks have been busy. But today’s wedding features Felisha & Kieran at The Farmstead Golf and Country Club.
I understand summer is supposed to be hot but golf courses definitely are hotter, and this day was hot! Everything was held at one location where the girls all got ready at the venue before the ceremony. Felisha has an amazing array of bridesmaids who all were very supportive of any of her needs with great attitudes who were easy to work with as well as the main attractions… Kieran & Felisha of course….
I like places that challenge me to make photos as golf courses can be tricky because of how open and wide the landscape is so one needs to get on the golf carts to drive around or scout an area… something wedding photographers don’t have the luxury of doing the day of a wedding….
Nonetheless I was able to pull some images of this amazing couple. Young couple, not to mention who have been high school sweethearts. Talk about foundation, yeah… Felisha is energetic, cute and fun and Kieran is a class act who was easy to work with for photos.. always open for that extra shot….which I was able to pull off at sunset…
Picking images for the blog can be hard but one of the things I like about photojournalism style photography is to be able to capture emotion and moments. Something about parent dances that make these my favorite to shoot in any wedding, it fills Daddy’s little girl with emotion as well as the Mom and Son dance… special.
Here are some images that speak of their day…
