How do I start this particular session but to say that it was COLD! & tough because of the weather conditions but we managed and did well. We had a little bit of everything. Some drizzle, heavy snow and oh yeah… lots of wind. I remember meeting Misha at an expo I did in New York City. She basically put her information down on a sign in sheet and walked away. I asked her if there is anything I can do for her as she walked away and she said “no”. So then I asked her where is her wedding venue, so she answered at The Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City, NJ. So of course it made me raise my eye brows a bit because I mentioned to her that her venue is basically in my backyard! So she then replied that she is in the West New York area and that made my eye brows go higher since I’m from Hoboken. So I told her to make sure she writes her town next to her name so I can remember to call since I was free for her date…
Well anyways, fortunately for myself she fell in love with my style and here we are. This particular session was a no cancel session by all means. See, Misha’s fiancé, Gary.. is from Houston and they both work in the music industry so their time is limited as they’re constantly traveling, so this was his only time in town till the day of the wedding. So we met at the Lackawanna train station here in Hoboken and took them around the area to try to create a few images. After they were true troopers to brace the cold, snow and wind. They chose to head to the W-Hotel in Hoboken where they will be getting ready for the day of the wedding for a few drinks. Gary mentioned to me that his lovely fiancé is constantly on the phone due to the type of work they do…and what do you know. During the session the phone rang!
Here are a few from their day… enjoy.
