Jared & Erica at The Hamilton Manor

October 6, 2016

Been extremely extremely busy so I’ve been back up blogging but here is one today. Hot day for this September wedding at the Hamilton Manor with Jared and Erica. This wedding was short hour wise but we started out with a first look to start coverage, so there was no gradual build of anticipation you can say but there wasn’t anything short of emotion….

Very laid back couple. Loved working with them both as they took direction very well for a couple that is not use to being in front of a camera. But what couple is comfortable in front of a lens?

But after their first look and their private session we went right into the ceremony after family formals. The venue is small but has a lot of character with a beautiful large hall for their reception…. during the party I was able to step out at night see the ceremony area dark of course but the gazebo area slightly lite in purple light and wanted to do a quick photograph of them with some off camera flash….

Once we got back to the hall, in one of the most ironic things that I’ve experience at a reception, the fire alarm set off, which by law we all had to evacuate and wait for the fire department to come and turn off the alarm. There was no fire thankfully but it was a false alarm of some sorts. But the party actually went outside and everyone had fun with it which was really cool with fire trucks with their bright lights, which I thought would be a cool shot of Jared and Erica to cap off their night….

Here are some from their day…
