We are at the Rock Island Lake club for today’s wedding. The last time I was here it was raining so hard I was not able to even get one photo outside. But today was different. It was a nice day but actually there turned out to be a small threat of rain which actually did but luckily we were able to do a first look and private session the grounds of the venue before their ceremony which was outside thankfully. It was getting dark quickly but we managed to finish the ceremony during sunset.
Visited Joseph’s room as he was getting ready. Remembering when I first met Joseph last year that he did mention he wanted me to take photographs of his guns. Which I really didn’t believe at the time but upon my arrival, what do you know? You see a few guns. Joseph is gun collector. So that’s where that comes from. So why not incorporate his wedding with something he loves besides his wife? But I did tell him if I’m taking any photos make sure the gun is empty which he did empty in front of me while I looked through the lens….
But the wedding went on with a first look after their getting ready session for these two before doing their first look….
