Engagement Session In Hoboken, NJ at the Lackawanna station. An Old train station in Hoboken that has been here forever basically. Taking beautiful photos here and the New York skyline which is a beautiful view in Hoboken.
Julian & Melissa were a pleasure to work with. I mean working with these two didn’t feel like work. Both very calm and down to earth. The easiest part of the shoot with them is how naturally affectionate they are. I know that it’s obvious that couples who are getting “married” should be but it’s different when you are in front of a camera. I don’t know how they found me but they were just a pleasure to talk to as well. They are getting married at the Chart House. Which is in walking distance to my house. So in essence I really wanted to work with these folks but it is even more of pleasure to work with folks that let you be creative…..
We did the shoot a few weeks ago and couldn’t be amazed at the weather we got in the middle of January. But I will take it. As they wanted to do photos early. We started out at the train station in Hoboken. Classic old look of the station as we continued on the waterfront, I saw this small pocket of light and the photos came out the way I wanted to. Of course to the eye you see the whole train station but I wanted to isolate them in the light and was able to underexpose for the entire scene and showcase their love….. We continued on to the waterfront to take more photos….
Here are a few from their day…
