The Venetian in Garfield is where we are at for Manny & Michelle’s Wedding. This couple have been together for 19 years and in talking with Manny one day, he told me that he always promised her that they will have a big wedding for their friends and family to enjoy and that he did.
I started out at Michelle’s house to document her getting ready and then headed to the ceremony as this day felt like it was extremely fast. The ceremony was typical but had a little twist. Manny is a big fan of flamenco music and admires a band named Star Talent’s Flamenco Guitar Ensemble. So without Manny knowing Michelle found them and hired them to play his favorite song at the ceremony as the church ceremony paused for a minute or two for them to serenade Manny & Michelle. The band came in from the back of the church as the ceremony went on and the Father asked them to turn around and absorb this moment…. Touching moment and very different for sure…..
Headed across the street to take a few private photos of these two which caught me off guard as I thought we were going to a park after the ceremony but they just wanted a few photos of them. So what do you? Assess the location and create the best possible photos you can make for what you’re given and we did just that……
Then back to the venue to document the rest of the night. As you know if you follow my blog or work, I love parent dances and you can always feel the emotion…….
