Finally had a sunny day for this weekend wedding we have here at The Farmstead Golf & Country Club. Where do I start? Let’s say this was a wedding where I guess I was destined to photograph this wedding. Well nothing is guaranteed but from Krista’s opinion it really was guaranteed that I would document her wedding. I basically did a freelance job a few years back and documented Courtney’s Wedding about 2 years ago. I didn’t fully remember Krista, till she found me through Courtney’s husband who still had my number. As she was actually looking for me and went to the studio I freelanced for that day and actually asked specifically for me. This was truly flattering to have anyone do this.
She found me, we had our meetings and I actually remembered taking a photo of her and Robert on the dance floor or somewhere else. I’m sure Krista will make me remember, haha. She actually told me that night when the time is right that she will look to hire me. At the time I didn’t believe this but of course nodded my head to agree, but here we are at Robert & Krista’s wedding. One of the nicest souls out there. I would document her wedding 5 times if she were to marry Robert 5 times in this lifetime… Robert, was actually in his suit when I arrived, which I always love when this happens. I’m able to take many more photographs. The day went so smoothly as nothing felt rushed and she fully enjoyed her day and even continued to smile even when it rained hard for a straight half hour while she was reading Robert’s letter. Followed my timeline to a tee and actually missed her cocktail hour to continue to photograph her private session as we got on the golf cart and drove around the grounds for a few photos….which did not disappoint….
Here is a few from their day….enjoy..
